The presentation at Artissima contains Josef Bauer’s early works from the 1960ies like the photographs of “tactile poetry” and refers also to working series like “BuchSTABEN” which he started in 1968 and is still working on. It will be presented an overview of his artistic practice over the last 50 years but also a focus on details of “tactile poetry” which is one of the most important group of works Josef Bauer developed over the years.
